Beautiful thespian Keira Knightley has admitted that her 'busty' screen appearances are all down to the tricks of the trade.
The famously flat-chested 22-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star said the cleavage-filled corset she donned for the epic trilogy was the result of makeup and not her own 'pecs', as she calls them.
"It's kind of a dying art form - in the past, they used to have whole sections of the studios devoted to bosom makeup," she explained to Easy Living magazine.
The Atonement actress added that she "completely loved" having a heaving bust for the first time in her life, especially since it took just 45 minutes every morning instead of plastic surgery.
Although the advent of silicon enhancement has somewhat lessened the trend for decolletage decoration, some actresses have a slightly darker shade of base makeup applied between their breasts to create a shadow and increase the 'cleavage effect'.
In her latest interview, Keira also revealed that she had a 'bum double' in her 2005 flick, Domino.
Last year, the refreshingly candid English rose even thanked the film industry's makeup maestros for making her spotty skin "look much better than what it is.
